Yes. All the time.

This is a nice image. I like the viewpoint and the aged appearance. Although the eye is led through the window, the drums provide the real interest. The drums are imaginatively placed. I can make out the snare under a floor tom, and a bass drum at the back. It's very good. I wish I'd thought of it!

Excellent shot. Do you play drums? I'm a retired Session Drummer, which is probably one of the reasons this image caught my eye.

Hey there, sorry for the delay.

I don't play drums no, but it one of my favourite instruments to play around on! I take photographs at a lot of gigs, and I always try to get interesting shots of the drummers because they are so easily neglected!

That's okay. It's good of you to reply.

I haven't played in a while. I was forced to retire from a professional career due to ill health, but I miss playing so much. Hopefully, I will get back behind a kit soon.

Yeh, drummers are often overlooked, so it's great that you take notice of them. Have a look at "Drummerworld" [link] which has loads of superb drummming videos. Here's a clip of one of my favourite drummers - Vinnie Colaiuta [link]
